Not once, but twice last week, the police came to our rescue.

The first time was to fill out a report when vandals slashed the tires on our company van. (People should have better things to do with their time.) The officer was courteous and thorough.

The second time, the whole cavalry came.

We had an incident at the office here last week that could have turned into a dangerous situation for employees very quickly.

Within a matter of about 45 seconds, the first cars responded…before a minute and a half passed, there were more than five units there to aid us.

We may wince when we drive by an officer and are going a tad bit over the speed limit. We may be put in a bad mood when they stop us for not using blinkers.

But, they are there when we need them the most.
